About us

Tollesbury Saltings Limited (TSL) was established in 1980 to manage the yacht berthing on the 150 acre site that was purchased by Fellowship Afloat Charitable Trust (FACT) in the same year.

FACT’s site includes the four historic sail lofts, the boatyard and associated hardstanding, along with a huge area of the Saltings that stretches all the way along Woodrolfe Creek to the Leavings, and across up to the managed retreat.

The charity operates the lightvessel Trinity as the floating base for their residential outdoor activity centre, and offers a wide range of educational and adventure activities. They are also an RYA Training Centre. More details can be found on their website www.fact.org.uk

TSL is wholly owned by FACT and compliments the work of the trust in maintaining the saltmarsh environment and providing services to boat owners and their crews — it’s a social enterprise.
